App Tester - Food Ordering Apps (Beginner Level)

We're working with leading food ordering app companies who are constantly refining their platforms to deliver the best user experience. They need curious, detail-oriented testers like you to explore their apps from a fresh perspective and identify what works—and what doesn't. Your job is straightforward: download the app, navigate through menus, test the ordering process, check out payment flows, and share your honest observations. You're not making purchases; you're helping developers understand how real users interact with their platform. After each testing session, you'll document your findings directly in our feedback portal.

Responsibilities/Roles:

• Test food ordering app features including browsing restaurants, filtering options, menu navigation, and search functionality.
• Verify checkout processes, payment method selections, and delivery address inputs work smoothly.
• Check user interface elements for clarity, responsiveness, and ease of use on mobile devices.
• Identify bugs, broken links, slow loading times, or confusing user flows.
• Document your experience with clear, constructive feedback and screenshots when relevant.
• Test across different device types and operating systems as assigned.

Rate: $35 per hour

Hours per week: Flexible

Contract: No fixed term

Location: Remote work online (USA preferred)

Requirements:

• A smartphone (iOS or Android) with at least 2GB of available storage.
• Reliable internet connection for downloading and testing apps.
• Ability to follow testing instructions and provide clear written feedback.

Skills/Background Needed: No prior testing experience required. If you regularly use food delivery apps and enjoy sharing your opinions, you're a great fit. Basic attention to detail and comfort navigating mobile apps is all you need.
