Beginner Mobile App Content Writer (Work from Home)

Job Description: We're seeking detail-oriented content writers to develop and refine written materials for various mobile applications. You'll craft user-friendly descriptions, in-app messaging, help documentation, feature explanations, and marketing copy. You'll work directly with our product and design teams to ensure every word serves a purpose.

Responsibilities/Roles:

• Write clear, concise copy for app features, onboarding screens, and user interfaces
• Create help articles and FAQ content for mobile app users
• Develop push notification messages and in-app prompts
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and app goals
• Edit and refine existing app content for clarity and tone
• Test written content within actual mobile applications to ensure effectiveness

Rate: $35 per hour

Contract: No fixed term

Hours per week: Flexible

Location: Remote work online (USA preferred)

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and grammar skills in English
• Access to a smartphone or tablet for testing app content
• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to write clearly for general audiences
• Comfortable learning new tools and platforms

Skills/Background Needed: You don't need extensive professional writing experience, but you should have a portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Experience using mobile apps regularly is helpful. A basic understanding of how apps work is valuable, though we'll teach you what you need to know. What matters most is your enthusiasm for writing, attention to detail, and willingness to receive and implement feedback as you grow in this role.
