We're expanding our QA team and looking for detail-oriented individuals who want to test mobile apps on their own schedule. This is a perfect remote role if you're seeking flexibility—just bring a mobile device and commit to around 5 hours per week, and you'll directly contribute to making apps better.
Roles:
Your typical responsibilities include:
- Downloading and launching applications on your personal mobile device.
- Testing how apps perform and assessing the overall user experience.
- Documenting your observations and insights in clear, thorough reports.
- Identifying any glitches, crashes, or performance problems you encounter.
Requirements:
To get started, you'll need one of the following:
- iPhone
- iPad
- Android Smartphone
- Android Tablet
Contract Length: Ongoing, no set end date
Rate: $35 per hour (Your actual pay depends on the app's complexity and how thorough your testing needs to be)
Skills/Background Needed:
The ideal candidate brings:
- Experience using a smartphone or tablet and confidence downloading/using apps.
- The drive to stay productive and self-directed without constant check-ins.
- Keen observation skills and a willingness to follow testing guidelines closely.
- A minimum of 5 hours per week available for test assignments.
- A reliable internet connection while you're working.
