Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and ticketing systems with clear, friendly, and professional communication.
- Address common customer questions about products, shipping, returns, and account issues while following company guidelines and knowledge base resources.
- Document interactions accurately in our customer management system to ensure continuity of service and track resolution patterns.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support teams when necessary while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Maintain a positive tone in all written communications, turning frustrated customers into satisfied ones through empathy and efficiency.
Rate: $35 per hour | Contract length: No fixed term | Hours per week: Flexible
Requirements:
- Reliable computer or laptop with a stable, high-speed internet connection suitable for multi-tasking across support platforms.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and the ability to explain solutions clearly and concisely.
- Patient, empathetic approach to customer interactions with a genuine desire to solve problems.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple customer conversations and prioritize responses effectively.
- Comfort with learning and using various software platforms, ticketing systems, and CRM tools.
- Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week with flexible scheduling options.
Skills & Background Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; customer service experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to work independently with self-discipline and motivation to meet quality standards without direct supervision.
- Quick typing speed and proficiency navigating multiple browser windows and applications simultaneously.
