Roles:
- Download and install games on assigned platforms (PC, console, mobile)
- Execute comprehensive functional testing across all game features and mechanics
- Identify and document bugs, crashes, performance issues, and gameplay inconsistencies
- Test under various conditions: different devices, internet speeds, and user scenarios
- Provide detailed written reports with reproduction steps for identified issues
- Verify fixes and confirm bugs are resolved in updated builds
Requirements:
- Access to at least one gaming platform: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or Android/iOS device
- Stable, high-speed internet connection
- Ability to install games and follow testing protocols precisely
Rate: $35 per hour (Compensation varies based on game complexity and testing scope)
Contract: No fixed term
Skills/Background Needed:
- Genuine passion for gaming across multiple genres
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot anomalies
- Clear written communication skills for bug documentation
- Minimum 8 hours weekly availability
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Understanding of game mechanics, controls, and user experience principles
- Patience and methodical approach to repetitive testing tasks
