Your role involves downloading games, playing through different scenarios and difficulty levels, and writing comprehensive 250-400 word reviews that analyze gameplay mechanics, graphics performance, audio design, and overall player experience. Your insights directly influence game development decisions.

Responsibilities/Roles:

  • Download and install games on assigned devices and platforms.
  • Play through game content systematically, exploring various pathways and scenarios.
  • Document bugs, glitches, and technical issues with clear descriptions and screenshots.
  • Evaluate game mechanics, difficulty balance, and player progression systems.
  • Write detailed reviews covering gameplay, graphics, sound design, and user interface.
  • Provide constructive feedback on story elements, character development, and overall engagement.
  • Test across different device specifications and network conditions.
  • Participate in follow-up testing rounds for patched versions.

Rate:

$35 per hour, with potential bonuses for comprehensive reviews of complex AAA titles.

Contract:

No fixed term.

Location:

Remote work online (USA preferred).

Hours per week:

Requirements:

  • Access to at least one modern gaming device (PC, console, or mobile).
  • High-speed internet connection for smooth gameplay and file downloads.
  • Ability to write clear, articulate reviews with constructive observations.
  • Attention to detail when identifying technical issues.
  • Reliability and consistency in meeting testing deadlines.

Skills/Background Needed:

Gaming experience is preferred but not mandatory. You'll need strong written communication skills and the ability to think critically about game design. Previous QA testing or game reviewing experience is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated testers who demonstrate genuine interest in games. A portfolio of past reviews or gaming content is helpful but not required. We have multiple positions available and are hiring immediately.
