Are you someone who gets a kick out of breaking things (apps, that is)? We're on the hunt for a detail-oriented tester who can think like a user and spot what we've missed. If you're curious about how mobile apps work, enjoy stress-testing features, and can write clear bug reports, we'd love to hear from you.
Roles:
- Download and test mobile applications directly on your own iOS or Android device.
- Run thorough test scenarios across all features, looking for glitches, crashes, and unusual behavior patterns.
- Write comprehensive reports that clearly explain any issues you discover.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A personal mobile device—iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and follow testing procedures without micromanagement.
- Availability to dedicate at least 5 hours per week.
- Stable, high-speed internet access.
Compensation: $35/hour (adjustments possible based on project complexity and quality of reports).
Skills/background needed:
- Comfort using mobile devices and installing applications from app stores.
- Ability to test independently with minimal supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to follow test protocols.
- Willingness to commit a minimum of 5 hours weekly.
