What You'll Be Doing: You'll test various mobile applications created by emerging businesses and entrepreneurs. One day you're checking out a finance app, the next you're playing with a wellness platform, then maybe a game. Don't worry if technical writing isn't your background—we'll walk you through everything in a brief 30-minute training session.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Load apps onto your mobile device and test them for performance and usability.
- Share thoughtful feedback about what you discover during testing, including any glitches, broken features, or areas that need improvement.
What We're Looking For: You'll succeed in this role if you have:
- Access to at least one device: iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.
- The ability to install and use mobile apps confidently.
- A preference for independent work with minimal hand-holding.
- An eye for detail when following testing instructions and protocols.
- At least 5 hours each week you can dedicate to this work.
- Dependable high-speed internet.
Compensation: We pay competitively for quality contributions, with rates beginning at $35 per hour. Your hourly rate can grow based on app difficulty level and the depth of analysis required in your reports.
Schedule Flexibility: You're in charge—choose whether you work 5 hours weekly or 50, depending on what fits your life.
Where You'll Work: Remote work online (USA preferred). We hire remote contractors across the country.
Experience Level: Beginners are absolutely welcome. All you need is a compatible device and the desire to work self-sufficiently.
