Remote Software Reviewer - Entry Level Content Writer

Job Overview: As a Remote Software Reviewer, you'll evaluate a variety of business and consumer software platforms, then craft compelling written reviews that highlight functionality, user experience, and real-world applications. Your writing will guide potential users through feature comparisons, pros and cons, and practical use cases. You'll work independently to research, test, and document your findings in well-structured content pieces that are both informative and engaging.

Responsibilities/Roles:

• Test and explore software platforms across different categories (productivity tools, design software, project management, etc.).
• Write detailed, honest reviews that evaluate features, ease of use, pricing, and overall value.
• Create comparison articles and how-to guides based on software functionality.
• Research competitor tools and compile findings into comprehensive content pieces.
• Maintain editorial standards while keeping content accessible to non-technical readers.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple review projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Strong writing skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Comfort learning new software quickly and independently.
• Reliable computer (Windows or Mac) with stable internet connection.
• Ability to follow style guides and editorial feedback.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Familiarity with productivity, SaaS, or business software tools (helpful but not required).

Rate: $35 per hour

Contract: No fixed term
