Usability Researcher - Mobile Apps (Remote)

Are you passionate about making mobile apps more intuitive and user-friendly? We're seeking a Usability Researcher to join our growing team and help us learn how actual users experience our Android applications. You'll serve as the user's advocate, identifying friction points, validating features, and delivering feedback that directly influences our product roadmap.

Role:

As a Usability Researcher, you'll load apps onto your personal devices, interact with them in real-world scenarios, and provide candid observations. You'll catch usability gaps and technical glitches that might slip past others, document your findings with precision, and create thorough reports on what's working well and what needs improvement. Your insights will drive product decisions and help prioritize our engineering efforts.

Requirements:

• Access to at least one mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet).
• Ability to confidently install and use mobile applications.
• Independent work habits with a strong eye for detail.
• Minimum 5 hours per week available for testing.
• Reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on testing of Android applications to evaluate functionality and user experience.
• Generate detailed observations and constructive feedback from your personal experience.
• Identify usability obstacles, technical problems, and interface confusion, documenting each discovery thoroughly.

Location:

Remote work online (USA preferred). We welcome applicants from outside the US who meet our requirements.

• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Rate: $35 per hour
• Hours per week: Flexible schedule
